March 09-13, 2014, EEUA along with the representatives of National University of Science and Technology “MISiS”- one of the leading technical universities in Moscow, came to Tanzania to attend int’l education fair EDEXPO and conduct a series of seminars for prospective students.
The exhibition took place in two major cities in Tanzania – Arusha and Dar es Salaam. Tanzanian students showed incredible interest in exploring the new study options and were very impressed with the opportunities offered in Russia & Belarus. The students mainly inquired about the options of studying in English medium, however many of them expressed interest to learn Russian language and study in Russian. Many students were interested to learn more about Russian culture and various aspects of everyday life.
EEUA representative also made a speech on the boundless opportunities of studying in Russia & Belarus highlighting the admission criteria and major benefits of education in Eastern Europe.
Particular interest was expressed towards Medical courses in English language and different Engineering courses.
The students were very impressed with the quality of education and living standards in Russia, and a great number of young Tanzanians got on-spot admission to the universities of their choice.
The visit to Tanzania was extremely productive and will surely result in a larger number of Tanzanian students coming to Russia.
