EEUA participated in EDUEXPOS education fair in Lima, Peru on April 09, 2014. A lot of prospective students visited the fair, mostly Bachelor students looking to continue their education at Masters level at an overseas university. Russian education did not ring a bell to Peruvian students who had been choosing the US and Spain as their main study destinations over the years. Having learned about the possibilities of studying in Eastern Europe the students felt eager to go to Russia and were pleasantly surprised by the variety of courses offered in Russian universities and the affordability of the tuition fee. Many students were anxious about the recognition of the Russian education in the other countries and were pleased to find out that Russian degree has worldwide recognition thanks to the Bologna process.
Within the fair EEUA representative also delivered a speech in Spanish about the opportunities and challenges of studying in Russia which was followed by a brief Q&A session.
EEUA is sure Peruvian students will seize this new opportunity of getting a degree abroad and will come to Russia to study their courses and get internationally accredited degrees by affordable fees.
