EEUA at Namibian Education Fair

May 26-27, 2014, EEUA participated in Namibia Education Fair organized in the capital city of Namibia – Windhoek. Namibian students are becoming increasingly interested in studying abroad and attended the event with great willingness.

Mostly the universities present at the fair came from Namibia, Botswana and South Africa so the students were enormously glad to also find some alternatives to studying in Africa, namely the opportunities to study in Eastern Europe offered by EEUA, which in some cases appear to be even more affordable and accessible than education in their country.

The fair was perfectly organized whereby the schools were being brought to the fair by buses, one after another, accompanied by school staff. Both pupils from the 12th and the 11th forms visited the fair, and even some younger classes were also brought along to get information about study options well in advance and take the right decision in the future.

While the 12th form pupils are about to graduate from high school this summer already and can file the documents for September 2014 intake, the 11th form will have another year to think about their study destinations and make their choice. EEUA noted that high interest in Russian education was coming both from the 11th and the 12th forms although some kids haven’t yet decided on what they want to study. In their majority the students inquired about various medical courses in English – General Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing etc. which are available in Russia at a very affordable tuition fee in comparison to other European countries. Apart from medicine, quite a lot of students inquired about Law, Engineering courses, Economics, Mining and Aviation.

EEUA will build on the positive experience of attending education fairs in Namibia and help all interested students get admission in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.
