EEUA seminars in India!

In the very peak of the student recruitment season EEUA came to India with a series of seminars on education in Russian state universities. The tour was organized by EEUA long-term reliable partner MOKSH Education and spun 6 cities – Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune and Nagpur, ending in the bustling capital – Delhi.

EEUA came to India along with Ural Federal University – one of the biggest top-notch universities in the Ural region.

The Russian delegation mainly met with prospective Medicine students, however, there were also quite a lot of engineering students interested in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical or Computer Engineering. EEUA and UrFU made PPT presentations about the universities, showed videos about Russian cities and universities, and offered detailed guidance towards the course chosen by the student. For students coming with complete documents package, EEUA rep provided on-the-spot admission to the university of their choice.

It should be noted that the majority of students came to the seminars with their parents, which proved their serious intentions and high interest in studying in Russia. The parents asked numerous questions about Indian cuisine, living conditions, work opportunities and on-campus facilities in Russia. EEUA provided extensive answers to these questions and showed video feedback of students studying in India while MOKSH representative explained the few steps it takes to become a medical doctor in Russia and the peculiarities of MCI screening test.

The students were particularly excited about the opportunity to study in English medium without taking 1 year preparatory course. Many students inquired about Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University which is by far one of the best medical universities in Russia having extensive laboratories all across Moscow and 4 research institutes within the university.

EEUA also offered the students an excellent cost-effective option to study medicine in Russia in a regional city Ryazan located just 2 hours from Moscow at Ryazan State Medical University. It evoked immense interest due to the quality of education, low cost of living expenses, reasonable tuition and accommodation fees and ideal location.

Not less important both RSMU and RyzSMU are MCI approved which is of utmost importance for prospective Indian medical students.

In terms of engineering courses the main interest was directed at Belgorod State Technological University and Moscow Power Engineering University which offer a variety of engineering courses in English.

Overall, students showed immense interest in medical and engineering courses while the parents were very impressed with the opportunities provided at Russian universities, namely the quality and affordability of education, worldwide degree recognition, European education system and flexible admission procedure.

EEUA would like to express gratitude to our partner MOKSH Education for successful organization of the seminars and will definitely expect a lot of applications from these regions for the coming year.
