EEUA seminars in Kumasi, Takoradi and Accra!
June 26-29 EEUA representative visited Ghana with a series of seminars on education in Russia & Ukraine. The seminars were organized by EEUA partner in Ghana – Astolinks International. The first seminar was held in Kumasi, a regional city and administrative centre of Ashanti region. To increase students’ awareness about the seminar and opportunities of studying in Russia, EEUA representative also appeared live on the local radio and made a brief introduction to Russian & Ukrainian universities.
Then EEUA traveled to Takoradi – the 4th largest city located on the south-western coast of Ghana. Both in Kumasi and in Takoradi students showed large interest in studying in Eastern Europe especially in Ivano-Frankovsk National Medical University, National Aviation University, Sumy State University, Ryazan State Medical University, Belgorod State Technological University etc.
The last seminar was organized in the buoyant capital Accra which has a huge number number of potential students ready to go overseas for their Bachelor or Master degree.
The students were glad to find out about many new English language courses offered at Russian & Ukrainian universities this year. Among the most demanded English medium Engineering courses were: Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering etc.
No less were the students excited with the opportunity to work part-time along with their studies. This would give them an additional income for supporting themselves and their everyday needs in Russia.
EEUA partner Astolinks also organized online Skype conference with various students currently studying in Russia or Ukraine who shared their experience of studying and living in these countries.
