October 15, 2014, EEUA held a seminar “Study in Russia: Scholarships and Advantages” in Beijing, China. The seminar was held on the premises of Russian Culture Center in Beijing (北京市东城区东直门内大街9号院 (NAGA上院）2号楼) and was attended by agents form China, Malaysia, India and Mongolia.
After the warm greeting of the administration of Russian Culture Center, EEUA Executive Director made 2 informative presentations about student recruitment to Russian universities highlighting the general process of student admission, advantages of studying in Russia, available courses, scholarship opportunities etc. The agents had the unique chance to find out about the full scholarship provided by Russian Government, as well as partial scholarships provided by universities.
The format of the seminar included Q&A session so the agents could pose all their questions directly during the seminar.
The seminar was followed by a Russian lunch at traktir “Pushkin” where the seminar participants could enjoy the Russian cuisine and further discuss collaboration opportunities.
The agents were very grateful for the highly informative seminar and expressed their interest in sending students to Russia.
We would like to thank Russian Culture Center in Beijing for their continious support in the organization of the seminar and are glad that the seminar turned out to be great success. We are sure this will promote Russian education in China and among other countries and dramatically increase the number of Chinese students in Russian universities.
