October 15 EEUA visited International Education Fair organized by SAS-BEN Education - our key partner in North-Eastern China. EEUA has participated in SAS-BEN education fairs several times already and it is well worth mentioning that the event organization is highly professional, conference staff efficient and helpful, and students attending the fair seriously interested in studying abroad.
With more than 40 foreign universities attending the fair, students had a large choice of study abroad destinations laid out before them, and it was great pleasure to see many students showing their interest in studying in Russia. As so many Chinese students are interested in Arts courses, EEUA primarily presented Russian universities of Arts and Culture. Such universities as Repin Academy of Arts and Culture in Saint-Petersburg and Moscow Academy of Arts are well-known all over the world for their outstanding graduates and high quality of education, so Russia is regarded as one of the best countries to get education in Arts.
However education in these universities may be quite expensive so EEUA also offered Chinese students a number of affordable options to get a degree in Russia – both in small regional cities like Belgorod, and in big cities like Moscow or Saint Petersburg.
Some students were also interested in Engineering degrees, and were very eager to know more about Belgorod State Technological University which offers a wide variety of engineering specialties both in Russian and in ENGLISH.
Most students came to the fair with their parents who tried to gather as much information about studying in Russia as possible, namely the studying and living conditions, living expenses, on-campus facilities, degree recognition and job opportunities after graduation.
EEUA provided personal counseling to each student who attended the fair and helped them choose the suitable university for studying their course.
The fair was a great success and we would like to express our sincere gratitude to our respected partner SAS-BEN for doing their best in promotion of Russian education among the Chinese students and their parents. It was also agreed to organize several high school visits later this year in order to make presentations in classes and attract more potential students.
EEUA is positive the enrollment of Chinese students at Russian universities will grow, with more and more students having the opportunity to get high-quality and affordable education in Eastern Europe.
