Peking University expressed genuine interest in mutual collaboration and offered several cooperation propositions. Furthermore the parties discussed possible tutor exchange, namely sending a Russian academic to Peking University to teach one semester/year of Russian language to Chinese students planning to come to Russia. Such a course will prepare the students for further studies in Russia and will be followed by an intensive summer school at a Russian university.

In frame of the meeting the parties also discussed possible visit to Changchun - a city in the north of China where Peking University has a branch school. Students form this region are especially interested in studying in Russia both due to the geografical proximity to Russia and the high level of business cooperation with Russian enterprises.
