How do you choose your university?
The new intake is about to start. One month to go and Russian universities will start accepting applications for 2015/2016 academic year. The question to which university to apply is the main question that plagues the future students. Russia offers so many options that it is easy to get confused which universities are the best to get your degree from.
How do you choose your university? It is interesting to know that although while many students are chasing ratings and applying to the “top” unis, quite a number of students are now considering the university’s overall showing, taking into account its on-campus facilities and students engagement into various after-class activities, international engagement of the university and its active social position.
One of such universities is Belgorod State Shukhov Technological University. The administration of this internationally accredited university highly respects years long traditions and holidays and encourages the university staff both to develop the education process and not to forget about social values.
Last year Belgorod State Shukhov Technological University organized a motorcycle journey in honour of the 60th anniversary of the university.
This year the Head of BSTU International Cooperation Centre - Mr Evgeniy Kapustin will make a 4-month journey around the world on a motorcycle! The project is organized under support of the University Administration and is devoted to the 70th anniversary of the major Russian Natinal holiday – Victory Day.
The idea of the project is to visit more than 36 countries and meet the 2nd World War veterans from the Soviet Union and collect video material about their life and memories of the past.
So, let us not forget the moral values and respect the years old national holidays! And the university is the best establishment to bring this thought to the young minds! BSTU can trully be called a university with a soul for it tries not only to provide high quality education to its students, but also to develop students` ideology.
