April 21, 2015 EEUA representative visited Ecuador to participate in the annual FPP education fair in Latin America. The fair was held in the capital city Quito but was also visited by students from other cities and villages who traveled to Quito to meet with university representatives from around the world.

EEUA participated in the fairs together with our official partner in Ecuador - WEA Education, Mr Ricardo Toscano and Mr Ricardo Davilla, who help the students with admission documents, visa support etc. There were 4 people at EEUA stand, and students could easily get all information in their local language as EEUA representative could explain both in Spanish and English languages. Moreover there were 3 more native speakers at the stand who also could answer the most elaborate questions of young Ecuadorian students.

Around 75% of students present at the fair came to EEUA stand to find out more about studying in Russia. The students asked about a wide range of specialties starting from Engineering and Economics degree and ending with Arts, Lnguages and Medical specialities. There were both students interested in studying at Bachelor level and students looking for Masters and Phd courses.

We are pleased to see that Ecuadorians are now becoming more and more interested in education in Russia, especially in the medical sphere. As quite a number of medical specialities are yet unavailable in Ecuador for Clinical Residency (Ordinatura), the students are looking for affordable high-quality options outside Ecuador, and Russia with its average medical tuition fee starting from USD 3000 is regarded as a very good option.

EEUA represebtative also made a very informative presentation for all interested students, which was followed by comprehensive Q&A session. A number of students have already submitted their applications for this educational year.

We hope Ecuadorian market will keep developing and we will see growing number of students from this region studying in Russian universities!
