October 20 -22 EEUA traveled to Quito, Ecuador, to participate in CAIE ECUADOR - annual Conference of the Americas on International Education. CAIE is a unique and essential forum that aims to provide an Inter-American common space to share paradigms, models, trends and best practices on internationalization issues, that contribute to the quality and innovation of higher education in its national, regional and international dimensions.
This year the conference was hosted by Escuela Politécnica Nacional (EPN) at its campus in the Ecuadorian Capital and by Instituto de Altos Estudios Nacionales – (IAEN) and featured presentations by more than 100 concurrent session speakers.
It was immensely interesting and productive to meet with a great number of HE professionals and discuss the new trends and venues for international collaboration between our countries. EEUA presented IUNP projects to our potential partners and invited them to participate in the annual International Universities Networking Conferences.
