May 25, 2016, EEUA representative in China participated in the international education fair organized on the premises of Hunan Agricultural University / 湖南农业大学, the university that takes the 8th place among the agricultural universities of China, the 141st place in the general Chinese universities rating and the1895 place in World University rating. The organizer of the fair – «赢泽智育堂国际教育集团» Win ze intellectual education hall international education group, with its Head and Founder Mr. Zhan Hunbin, is one of the leading education agencies in this part of China that has been sending Chinese students for study abroad for many years. Universities from different countries participated at the fair, while the most popular study destinations among the students as usual were the US, Canada, UK, Australia, as well as Italy, Japan and South Korea. However, Russia has also made its way on the map and a lot of students inquired about the opportunities to study in Russia. Within the fair the Agency Head, Mr. Zhan Hunbin, made special emphasis on Russia in general and the collaboration with Eastern European University Association in particular. The fair was very busy with students, apart from 4 big planned presentations, there was also special time allocated for personal interaction with prospective students and their parents.
Besides, EEUA rep met with the Vice-Rector on international cooperation of Hunan Agricultural University. The possible joint programs between the universities and possibility of introduction in the university of the new speciality “Russian language” were discussed in frame of the meeting.
Also EEUA rep met with a number of other international department directors from different Chinese universities. The parties discussed the main cooperation opportunities between the universities, such as joint degrees, student and faculty exchange. All interested high school and Bachelor graduates could leave their contacts to apply for admission in EEUA universities. The main cities that students have chosen for their studies are Moscow, Saint-Petersburg and Kazan. The video clips about these cities enjoyed the most popularity among the students.
The Agency Head, Mr. Zhan Hunbin, was very satisfied with the fair and expressed his gratitude to the Eastern European University Association for helping to implement this event.
We will continue to collaborate with our much-esteemed partners on all projects and are hoping that these projects will help to develop fruitful cooperation between Russian and Chinese universities.
