IUNC Organizing Committee is proud to announce that IUNC Eurasia 2016 has been successfully held on May 11-13, 2016 in Moscow, Russia.
It was a memorable 5th Anniversary of the Annual International Universities Networking Conference devoted to the University Cooperation Development and Agency Relations Building and gathered about 160 participants from all over the world. The universities from Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, USA, UK, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Holland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Greece, China, Malaysia, Lebanon, Israel, Egypt, Sudan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Cameroon, Nigeria, South Africa, Chile were represented at the event. The main focus of the event was cooperation with HEIs from CIS and Eurasia.
The President Hotel, located in the heart of Moscow and provided spectacular views of Moscow River, The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Peter the Great monument and Moscow City was chosen as a venue of the conference.
The engaging IUNC Eurasia 2016 Program began with the campus tours to the most famous and prestigious universities of Russia – Lomonosov Moscow State University and National Research University (Moscow Power Engineering Institute). It was followed by a number of sessions, seminars, presentations and prescheduled business appointments as well as the numerous networking activities and evening social events. During 3 days, the IUNC participants were fully absorbed with impressive presentations, lively discussions, prescheduled meetings with potential partners and vibrant evening events.
This year IUNC Eurasia 2016 welcomed 21 speakers from 15 countries. Each participant was able to find the session and topic according to his or her interest and get the overview of regional markets. All sessions got a positive feedback from attendees and initiated further dialogs. The 5th IUNC Eurasia covered the topics such as Global HigherEd Trends, overviews of educational systems and cooperation opportunities in the following countries: Russia, Ukraine, Egypt, UK, USA, Norway, Poland, France, Holland, Switzerland and Canada.
Networking and social activities are essential part of the conference, that is why IUNC Organizing Committee does its best to arrange unique networking opportunities for all. In addition to 30 official business appointments and daily networking breaks, the IUNC Eurasia 2016 attendees took part in the 5th IUNC Anniversary Celebration and Moscow River Cruise with dinner. During the Celebration Dinner the university representatives from different countries participated with pleasure in funny contests and quizzes about Russian Language and Culture and got Russian Traditional Souvenirs as Prizes. The Main Prize – Russian Traditional Tea-Pot – SAMOVAR went to Ms Devyani Khare (India). Among other gifts attendees got MATRESHKA-dolls (Russian Famous Wooden Dolls painted by hand), Russian Traditional Scarf, etc. All also enjoyed Birthday Cake and dances afterwards. The Evening Moscow River Cruise with Dinner was another way to thank IUNC Eurasia participants for their support and express Russian Hospitality. The dinner at the boat was accompanied by gorgeous night views of Moscow. And friendly and relaxed atmosphere gave attendees the chance to have a rest after the fruitful day and to socialize.
