Materials and Technology of Solar Energy
at National University of Science and Technology “MISiS”
Current global energy demands require clean and efficient approach. The two-year masters program in Science and Materials of Solar Energy at National University of Science and Technology “MISiS” is designed to prepare future engineers who will implement sustainable energy solutions. The program is a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of Renewable Energy. The students will learn pros and cons of conventional and renewable energy sources. International professors and scholars will share their knowledge and experience about conventional and innovative methods, materials and systems used for harvesting the energy of our Sun.
Admission
To be admitted as a regular graduate student to a two-year Master’s program at NUST “MISIS”, an applicant must have earned a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
Applicant must follow the general procedure outlined on the web-site.
Admission is open to both Russian and international students and it includes a short individual online interview with Dr. Masamba Kah (head of the program).
Degree Requirements
To graduate from the program, you must successfully complete 120 credit hours, including 74 credits from required and elective courses, 16 credits from research work, and 30 credits from the final examination and the thesis defense. Upon completion of the degree requirements, the graduate will receive a Russian State Diploma and a European Diploma Supplement.
