EEUA attended the ICEF Asia workshop. ICEF Asia is a remarkable event due to several reasons. It is the largest pan-Asian educational event of its kind where more than 120 education institutions from over 20 countries were summoned to meet the leading agents from 16 Asian countries. Secondly, the event was hosted by China - the largest sender of students in the world, which explains the fact that the majority of educators represented at the occasion were of Chinese origin. However, there were also many representatives of the educational sphere of Taiwan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Singapore, Japan, South Korea and Thailannd. Obviously, the Easten European University Association was the only participant from the post-soviet countries, which makes it an even more promising experience for our organization. Besides, the workshop itself had a lot of advantages such as discussions of exchange programs and other joint ventures between universities of Russia and Ukraine and other Asian universities. The EEUA team also managed to visit various seminars which were aimed at enlightening agents and educators about international educational trends that have been recently imple, ented in Asian countries. In the aftermath of the event it is evident that the ICEF Asia workshop has helped launch relations with educational agents of Asia. Owing to this event, the EEUA is going to explore the educational market of Asia more thoroughly and hopefully fruitful collaboration with between Russian and Ukrainian universities and Asian universities is about to develop dramatically.
