FAM trip to Russian and Ukrainian Universities
Previous two weeks were exceptionally intense for the Eastern European University Association. The long anticipated Familiarization tour with Russia and Ukraine began on February 15th and lasted until March 3d. The number of partners willing to participate in this unique adventure was quite substantial so initially two FAM tours took place instead of one so that EEUA team would be able to plan out the best program for its dear guests. The most vital peculiarity of this trip is that it incorporated educational agents from various countries of the world, such as: China, Cameroon, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Great Britain, Nepal, Canada, Nigeria and Australia. The program of the trip was just as varied as the lineup of participants. During their stay in Russia and in Ukraine the partners managed to get a thorough understanding of the higher education system by visiting Moscow State Engineering Institute, Russian State Medical University, Belgorod State Technical University, National University “Kharkov Polytechnical University”, National Aviation University in Kiev, State University of Sumi and St. Petersburg State Pharmaceutical academy. Besides, they realized how diverse and developed these universities are judging by their campuses and research centers. The trip certainly included a great deal of sightseeing so the guests could perceive the cultural spirit of both countries. The EEUA was honoured to host its partners during this exciting trip and looks forward to seeing more of its partners joining the program next year!
