With the application period in Russian & Ukrainian universities in full swing, EEUA representative paid a visit to the fabulous city of Mumbai  (formerly known as Bombay), the financial capital of India, with the solemn purpose of participation in the MEDU conference – a tremendous education fair organized by India’s leading travel and education agency – MOKSH. Apart from EEUA, the conference was also visited by 3 Chinese universities.

The conference incorporated 2 parts: general PPT presentations on behalf of the university representatives and personal interaction section with students and their parents. After an introductory speech on behalf of conference organizers all foreign delegates were warmly greeted and given a flower bouquet.

EEUA representative made a speech in front of 500 people highlighting the main advantages of Russian and Ukrainian education: high quality and affordability. The audience was enraptured with the great opportunities offered by EEUA and inspired to apply for admission in Russia or Ukraine. The success and magnitude of the event could be judged by the fact that the hall was crowded and people constantly kept coming.

After an abundant lunch the delegates proceeded to the personal interaction section. This part gave the students and their parents the chance to personally pose education-related questions and dissolve various fears related to foreign student adaptation inRussiaandUkraine. Most Indian students were very much concerned with food issues and were very pleased to find out that it is possible to find Indian cuisine in some of Russian university canteens.

In general all students who visited the conference were satisfied and very grateful to both EEUA and Mr Dananjay Shah – CEO of MOKSH for providing them with the opportunity to meet Russian& Ukrainian university representative, obtain unbiased up-to-date information and get ON-THE-SPOT admission.

It should be noted that MOKSH also took great care of the university representatives’ free time having organized a sightseeing tour around the city in frame of which the participants were able to see the main attractions of Mumbai – Queen’s necklace, Queen’s Gate and the grand Taj Mahal hotel.

Moreover, the visit to MEDU conference also turned out to be an excellent opportunity for EEUA to establish cooperation with the participating Chinese universities, namely HUST and Bohai university who were very eager to implement various exchange programmes with Russian universities particularly student exchange, tutor exchange and dual degrees.

The MEDU conference is considered to have immense potential and next year the attendance will definitely increase even more. EEUA is convinced that this tremendous event will have immense impact on the minds of Indian students and will raise general awareness concerning the high quality of Russian & Ukrainian education.
