Information about arrival of students to Russian & Ukrainian universities.


Pre departure instruction for student coming to RUSSIA

1. Students must enter Russia 25 days before expiration of Invitation and visa. Invitation Expiration date you can find on Invitation (orange color paper A3 size with red stamp and with title ПРИГЛАШЕНИЕ). Expiration date in Russian is Пребывание по: 08.12.13 (this is example of date December 8th 2013). Please make sure that your students will arrive to Russia 25 days before this expiration date. If students will arrive later than 25 days before expiration they will not be registered at university and will have to go back home to get new visa with new Invitation.


2. Foreign citizens must prepare (before departure) such documents as:

  1. The origin of educational document of the previous level (secondary school, college, university etc.) together with all appendixes (transcripts, list of course with grades etc.) (ATTENTION: both the educational document and the appendix to it should be legalized in the Consulate of Russian Embassy in the country, where this document was issued or should be legalized by the apostille). It means that on the reverse side of the educational document the stamp of Russian Consulate must be set confirming its authenticity.
  2. You must have the translation of the educational document and the appendix to it into Russian language, which must be confirmed at the Russian Consulate in your country. The best way is to ask the translation through Russian Consulate during forming the entry visa.
  3. You should have several copies of mentioned educational documents.
  4. A passport with an entrance visa or a stamp of registration in Russia
  5. A certificate confirming that an applicant has no HIV virus or AIDS disease;
  6. 10 passport size black and white photos ( 3х4 cm)

Please after getting a primary visa make a copy and send it to russiaa@eeua.ru ! EEUA must be informed about the status of student.

4.Extra expenses (paid at university):

Medical insurance      180-200 $ per annum

Living expenses           150-300 $ per month (depending on the city)

Prolonging the visa    30-50 $ (depending on the University and city)

Nostrification              300 - 500 $ (expert examination of equivalence of the school/graduation certificate)


5. Who will pick me up at the airport?

EEUA representative will pick up student from airport and bring to university. The best time to arrive Monday - Wednesday (10 a.m – 2 p.m.).  Not Friday night!

To request airport pickup please send your ticket details (3 days before departure) to russia@eeua.ru and to student@eeua.ru   Mr. Daniel  mobile +7 926 778 27 01 is responsible manager for students airport pickup. Transfer costs USD 100 for those students who arrive at the local airport and 200 USD for those who will arrive at an airport situated not in the city where the university is located. Airport pick up fee should be paid at the airport.

 

6. What should I do after arriving at the university?

First steps that student will do at the university:

Ms. Margarita will make sure that the international department of the university has accepted student and since then the university is responsible for the student’s wellbeing. On request necessary help can be provided by Ms. Margarita.

Pre departure instruction for student coming to UKRAINE

 1. Students must enter Ukraine just before expiration of visa but not later than November 15th 2013. But it is better to arrive as earlier as possible because some groups already started classes.


2. Foreign citizens must bring to University such documents as:

  1. original Invitation letter;
  2. school certificates;
  3. birth certificate;
  4. general medical certificate. The certificate should be issued not earlier than 2 month before his arrival to Ukraine;
  5. HIV – medical checkup certificate
  6. 10 photos size 40x60 mm;
  7. the flight ticket should be to and fro to your home country (i.e., open ticket);
  8. questionnaire of due/standard form (hilled in at the university);
  9. insurance policy on rendering emergency medical aid to foreign students (hilled in at the university);
  10. National passport is given personally.

Documents in paragraph 2, 3, 4, 5 should be translated into Ukrainian or Russian language and legalized by Ukrainian Embassy in your country.
